you know, I grew up in your new city- tho more towards Ontario street, tho right next to the hills and orange groves, and we never saw stuff like that!! (I did find a terantula once, but I always thought it was an escaped pet).

This pic was taken just yesterday - apparently he walked right in the front door. (it had been open a while - we have the tile guys here this week).
I didn't know you lived out here...I thought you were always in OC...

Oh my goodness! Reminds me of when my mom lived in Tucson and we'd have to shake our shoes out before putting them out because scorpions were everywhere. Ugh Ugh Ugh

Ooooh! This guy looks like the dead one I found in the copper hibachi pot (remember it??) which now sits in the living room in Marfa. He was crunchy, with his tail in the air.
